Our Story

Cora wasn't born from a business plan. She was born from a belief — that the right piece of jewelry doesn't just complete an outfit. It changes how you feel.

It started with a single baroque pearl. Irregular, imperfect, alive. Nothing like the perfect round pearls she'd seen in jewelry stores her whole life. But when she put it on, something shifted. It caught the light differently. It felt personal. It felt like her.

That pearl became the beginning of Better with Cora.

Why Pearls?

Because pearls are the only gemstone that don't require mining to be beautiful. They form naturally, inside a living thing, through a process of patience and gentle irritation. Sound familiar?

We believe every person is like a pearl — formed by their experiences, unique in their surface, luminous in their own way. That's the energy we design around. Not perfection. Presence.

What We Make

Each piece in our collection is carefully sourced from artisan workshops in Yiwu, China's jewelry-crafting capital. We work directly with makers who share our obsession with quality — from the baroque freshwater pearls we favor, to the sterling silver and 18K gold vermeil that hold them in place.

We don't mass-produce. We curate. Every piece is selected because it has something to say — whether it's a delicate tennis-racket pendant that pays homage to the sport, or a layered baroque pearl necklace that turns heads without asking for attention.
